IBCLC Exam Fee Scholarship

The cost of taking the IBCLC exam may be a financial hardship for some candidates. The North Carolina Breastfeeding Coalition is offering need-based scholarship money not to exceed $1000.00 per calendar year to IBCLC exam candidates taking the exam for the first time.  Priority will be given to candidates of minority groups and candidates planning to serve in underserved areas of NC. Preference will also be given to candidates meeting more than one criteria. The scholarship award maybe applied to registration for the exam, transportation, meals or lodging directly related to taking the exam.
